S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Melissa Busch for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #1 Gift, Teaching (90%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love sharing the Word of God with others. I value knowledge and try to share what I know and am learning, whether that be by the spoken word or by the written word. I try to make God’s message easy to understand and relate-able to today’s life-styles .

#2 Gift, Evangelism (87%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to share God’s love. I don’t believe in getting in people’s faces, but sharing God’s love through acceptance and His Word. Planting seeds that will eventually grow fruit.

#3 Gift, Pastoring/Shepherding (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
If pastoring means encouraging someone to live their best life, to find the path God wants them to walk down so they will have love, peace, joy, and hopeful lives, then this is what I strive to do daily.

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

2. Love and nurture my family.

3. Write down the valuable lessons that God has taught me and make them applicable and funny, as to not make anyone feel less-than.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
