Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I learned about God and His only son Jesus from my Catholic mom. Ever since then, I have always talked to God about wanting to know more and about which church to go to. Then when I was 18 years old, I met my husband and he started taking me to a non denominational church. I was about 19 years old when I prayed to have Jesus be Lord of my life.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Jubilee Christian Center, San Jose, California – Nursery;

St. Cyprian Church, Sunnyvale, California- Children’s Ministry;

Crossroads Grace Community Church, Manteca, California – Children’s Ministry

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Becoming a mother at a young age.

Praying for my husband and God blessing me with him.

Buying a home.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Becoming an teenage mom is a positive experience because it helped me to become humble, brave and to care for life by not getting an abortion.

My husband getting laid off in the middle of buying our first home in 2003. This experience gave us the opportunity to really rely on our faith on God’s provision which he granted. To this day, we have owned our home for over 15 years now.

In 2008, we experienced God’s miracle in our children’s life. They were in a car accident with my mom and my daughter almost died and we were told that my daughter was not going to be able to walk again. Today she walks, she runs, she plays all sorts of different musical instruments and she’s using her gift for worship. She’s actively in several worship team in our church.
