Thank you Megan Kelly for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have always had a sensitive heart in tune with the needs of others. As my priorities have changed and more time is focused on raising my kids, this is an area of ministry that I still love finding time for – meeting with people, praying for people, counseling people, etc.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy teaching in Berean Kids and expressing that knowledge I have of the gospel and the knowlege I have with others in small groups or in my community.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Evangelism was taught to me at a young age – while I want to be more effective at sharing my testimony on a regular basis, I do make a point when making people to share about our church experience. I want others to experience the undeserved grace that God has given to all – “go into all the nations”.
[H]eart
1. I love to meet with people for coffee, one-on-one or with families, during counseling sessions. I love connection.
2. I love being a mom and raising my k ids.
3. I love meeting the needs of others.
I enjoy connected with adults, teaching and spending time with adolescents and children.
Discord and pride in the church concerns me. I appreciate the gospel focus at Berean – this focus helps keep things on the right track I believe to avoid some pitfalls. Wounds given to brother and sisters in Christ are another concern I have – the church needs to be welcoming to outsiders and gospel focused.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I grew up in a Chrsitan home, always knowing about Christ from as young as I can remember. I accepted Christ around age 4 as my personal Savior and was motived to tell others about Christ for most of my years in school. Christ became more real to me as I faced challenges with my brother moving away, Matt’s family challenges, and facing and overcoming the stronghold of fear – I had been not depending solely on Christ and not having joy and peace firmly planted in my salavation.
youth leader, worship leader, Sunday School teacher, VBS, women’s ministries, etc.
Counseling – knowing this is what I want to do some day
Being there to connect with friends who were in need of a friend as I grew up
Meeting Matt and having God clearly draw us together
Loss of brother Michel – born stillborn
Loss of brother Nate due to family dysfunction
Wounds inflicted from others – church
