Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up in the church. Did not make Jesus LORD of my life until after high school

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Highland Hills LV, NV – Youth ministry

South Hills LV, NV – Youth ministry

The Rock – Adult ministries

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Growing up in the church – being indoctrinated at a young age

Serving in various ministries – it makes me want to live to a higher standard

Marrying Kristen – I would not be where I am today without her influence in my life

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Most of my church experiences with leadership have been unhealthy. It has shaped my perspective on church leadership and to at least identify unhealthy characteristics and to help others understand that the church can be messy

Not doing what God has called me to do. Going down this path and hitting a dead end is what made me about face and start bible school. I think it comes out in my teaching — namely that God requires complete surrender for him to be LORD

At one point I nearly walked away from my marriage. I have compassion for those struggling in marriage and hope to be able to minister to them
