S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Michelle Rediger for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
The Lord wants me to encourage others to live out their calling, to help them find inner strength and confidence based on a deep dependent relationship with our Heavenly Father. I can do this because he has brought me through hard times.
[H]eart
1. I love meeting with women one on one to listen to their stories, pull out their strengths, give encouragement in their weakness, and hope in their struggle. When I meet with them I feel close to the Holy Spirit, he’s feeding me knowledge and wisdom for the moment.
2. I love staying physically fit. Running has been such a source of joy over the years, it keeps me fit, focused, and freed up!! I started sharing this joy with others last year and believe the Lord would have me start training ladies to run or walk in order to gain not only physical fitness but also spiritual and mental fitness and wholeness.
3. I love coming up with strategies to help others experience God whether it’s creating an environment or encouraging them to draw or write.
I have a heart for all women. I currently enjoy working with the high school girls, however I think for the training I want to do the young adult to 30’s age range might be my target group. Not totally sure about this though.
My heartbeat is for discipleship. I love that the church attracts people, some become new believers, but I feel sometimes people are set up to expect that once you become a Christian life is great. What happens is they go through a trial and are completely broadsided and feel that God is no longer good. I believe setting people up with mentors is so crucial to them becoming strong in their faith.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I accepted Christ at the age of nine after feeling the tug of the Holy Spirit on my heart. I desired to follow him the best I knew how. However, it was in my mid twenties that I sincerely dedicated my life after falling away and living in sin. He grabbed hold of my heart once again and brought me to repentance. I have moved forward and grown closer and closer to the Lord ever since.
At Riverpoint Church in Newton, KS I served in high school ministry for one year, kids check in team for three years, women’s Bible study leader, one time conference speaker
Mennonite Brothern Church, Hesston, KS I served as an assistant coordinator for the children’s ministry Wednesday night program, nursery volunteer, Mom to Mom discussion group leader
Mountain View Church, Queen Creek, AZ I have served with the mentor team and high school ministry team for Sunday and Wednesday night programs, lead women’s Bible studies and prayer groups
Having the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone to lead my first women’s Bible study was instrumental to my spiritual growth
Having the support of the women in leadership was such a key ingredient
Knowing I can make a positive impact on the lives of young people by showing up and caring for them challenging them and encouraging them has been so wonderful
My first experience working with students in KS was tainted by a lead pastor who was bent on only doing things his way and not allowing the youth pastor to do things according to his gifting and ability
This same pastor created an insecure, unstable leadership team that led to the churches fall and eventually closing it’s doors
Have had an experience were church people were so fake, wearing a mask showing a smile and everything is fine, no one was okay with the reality that we’re not OK. It was so uncomfortable being there because I couldn’t be real or authentic
