Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in the church, and choose to follow Christ at the age of 11. My fledgling faith had no frame of reference for prayer or study in order to ward off an attack from the enemy when entering college. I faced worldly choices and I exchanged my faith for materialism, trust in others who led me astray, and a bad choice that impacted my faith for many years in an attempt to fill a void. I ended not with a sense of wholeness, but rather debt, guilt, regret, and a mix of pride and anxiety that was not me. I found the understanding of true grace while worshipping with my 100 closest and unknown friends in a chapel at Fort Sam Houston. The void was filled with peace, hope, and love when forgiveness was granted. While all was forgiven instantly, the road to my own understanding took seven years from that time until I could truly understand what that meant and forgive myself in the same way God extended grace.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Worship Pastor, Dryden Wesleyan Church

Waynesville United Methodist Church – Ministerial Student, Praise Team Member, Small Group Bible Study Leader, Adult Ministry Teacher

First Baptist Church, Park Forest, IL, – Hospitality Team, Church Financial Auditor, Praise Team

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Deployment – reduced the desire for materialism as everything needed fit in three bags for a full year and the need of the world was shown instantly.

An encouraging praise team who saw potential in a young teen who loved music and gave me a chance to grow

Army life – gave me a challenge beyond my wildest dreams, built my confidence in immeasurable ways, led me back to Christ, and brought me to Michigan

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Experiencing loss of life

Constant criticism

trauma
