#1 Gift, Evangelism (46%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am not judgemental and legalistic when it comes to people who were not raised in the church. I understand we need to see/meet people where they are.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (46%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Like above, I understand we need to meet people where they are. I have an understanding and empathy toward someone who has been through trauma and how it affects every part of your life. I can relate to other’s struggle with depression and anxiety and how it is not a topic that we don’t talk about in church. It’s hard to share because we have to put on a good face.

#3 Gift, Teaching (46%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
As a teacher in my career field, this may come up by nature. I don’t feel equipped to teach in the church. That seems daunting.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in the church. My dad was a music minister. Through my life, I know God has protected me from so many things. I also know that there are things that happened that have forever affected me. As a child, I knew that I would need God. I came to Christ at the age of 7. I think God tugged at my heart at a young age to help me process trauma as I became in my mid teen years.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Forest Heights Clovis: piano, kids music

First Baptist Rio Rancho: praise team, kids choir

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Female leaders in our church at Emmanuel Baptist as a child

Summer youth camps

Musical experiences

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Childhood trauma

Trying to find direction in career choice and taking the long way there

Growing up poor

Wrapping It Up

1. My Relationship with GOD

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. To help a child in need with our resources

4. To give my children the teaching they need to remain strong in their faith after leaving our home. And to have them know our door is always open.

5. Go on mission trips
