This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have taught adult Sunday School classes for almost 20 years and have greatly enjoyed it. The last class I taught was called “Deeper Discoveries” because we routinely would take many topics in the Bible and examine them in a very detailed, easy to understand way.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love sharing what the Lord has done for me with others and telling them of my story. The Lord has been so gracious to me and my family and continues to prove Himself faithful to me daily. I also listen and try to respond to what the Holy Spirit directs me to do as far as blessing the homeless, those in poverty, the hungry, and the poor.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
God placed this hunger within me shortly after saving me in 1978. I have studied Biblical prophecy for over 40 years and am simply fascinated by it. No other religion in the world can make the claim that its founder gave specific prophecies that have eventually come to pass, except the Christian faith. Today, we are clearly living in the last moments of the Church Age as we are witnessing God’s Word literally leaping on the pages and being fulfilled before our very eyes. I’ve done many prophetic studies on books like Daniel, Ezekiel, and Revelation and realized there seems to be a hunger for this teaching in the Church today.

[H]eart

1. Helping the poor and hungry in any way but especially by blessing them with a monetary gift and simply buying them a meal. I always try to share the Gospel with them while I have their undivided attention.

2. Sharing God’s prophetic Word with anyone (believers and non-believers) and see in their eyes the moment you have blown their mind when you reveal what a passage of scripture means and then show them how the Lord gave the passage thousands of years ago (prophecy) and now we who alive today have seen its actual fulfillment. Priceless!

3. Getting alone with the Lord and seeking His face in prayer and Bible study. Each morning I always get up early and enjoy devotions with God before the day gets hectic. It’s my time and it’s special and very powerful.

Adult believers are my favorite. 40’s and up age group.

I love teaching the best and feel this is what the Lord has called me to do, especially prophetic studies of the Bible involving the Tribulation, Rapture of the Church, Second Coming of Christ, 1000 year Millennial Reign of Christ, Heaven, ect.

I have 30 years experience in the restaurant industry as a manager and am very organized when it comes to putting together meals and other get-togethers.

Sunday School curriculums and various in-depth Bible studies, such as, Genesis, Daniel, Esther, Ezekiel, Revelation, Minor prophets, James. These studies took anywhere from 6 months to 18 months to complete.

I know that without the Lord I am nothing! Pride has no place in a Church and I have found that I can’t do anything with Jesus helping me. I’ve learned to trust Him!

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

[E]xperience

I was saved when I was 18 years old when my best friend invited me to his Church (Pentecostal – Church of God) and I was blown away at the moving of the Holy Spirit. I had never seen people shout, run, or speak in other tongues and I had to know more about the experience. God continued to draw me and I later got saved, sanctified, and filled with the Spirit. My Mom and Dad both came from families that were heavily affected by alcohol and drunkenness.

Northlake Assembly of God, Charlotte, NC – 14 years – I served on the board for 5 years, was the adult SS teacher, sang in the choir, helped in the band (played some keyboard), and also helped prepare meals at special events.

Elton Woods Church of God, Jackson, MS – 6 years – Same as above except I never served on their board.

Asheville Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5 years – Same as above

Was in a fantastic Sunday School class in the early 1990’s which gave me the desire to teach.

Have known many believers who share their faith and resources liberally with others.

Being a part of Churches that have had powerful moves of the Spirit and have seen the power of God manifested in healings, freeing others from demonic possession, and other miracles.

Our first Church- right after we got married back in 1981 was a very judgmental Church and filled with older people who had no patience with young people or anything new. The Church eventually died and taught me what that type of example does to others and how it negatively affects the kingdom of God.

My mother has battled mental illness for over 40 years and it has taught me to have compassion on others having these issues.

Family members have experienced battles with alcohol and this also has given me a special perspective for others with this problem.
