S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Hayden Miles for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I always called myself a Christian but didn’t become one until I started to see how God was working in my life and helped me on the right path with everything I do

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Zion United Methodist Church, Louisa/VA, summer day camp leader, 1 summer

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

going to church and getting the message through someone that could relate it to our own lives and that gave a message that sinks in my mind

Fork union has helped me changed the way I am and helped me become more mature and who I am today

My relationship (she has helped me become closer to Christ and has lead me on the right path)

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

my grandpa dying helped me appreciate other people and take each moment with them like it will be the last

my sister getting sick and almost dying after she was born

Seeing how some people don’t have it as good as we do in this country and how good I have it when I have everything I need such as a house, food, water and clothing

  • Everyone Else After those

3. Make sure I am at church every sunday and join groups in that church

4. go on a mission trip to a foreign country
