S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Miles Wooten for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

1. Play music.
2. Connect with people.
3. Share the gospel. I love and believe in the church.
I rarely have a preference on who I work with, especially when it comes to age. But if I had to choose a type, I would say people who care about working with efficiency and excellence.
Growth is exciting and being apart and having ownership in that is very exciting.
I’m always concerned with making sure that the primary ministry I am apart of continues to grow and push for excellence in every area. (worship)

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I was around religion my whole life, but didn’t make it my own until after really struggling through in middle school. My high school and college years were some of the best years of my life, I credit that to my walk with Christ.
New Life Church, 6th-12th grade. Being apart of worship teams early on, serving, team building, and eventually leading worship and it being my lone responsability.
I served in worship and other teams at about 5 different churches during my year in college.
I remember the first time I was asked to help run sound for our youth band at church. It was a huge step for me and a massive confidence booster. Even though I just stood there.
The first time I was asked to play backup keys at a main service.
When I got the job at Salty.
I really struggled in middle school with making friends and just finding where I belonged. I do believe that this helped drive me to be the person I am today.
Dropping out of college was never the plan but it happened and dealing with that adversity was something that grew me as a man more than anything I’ve ever come in contact with.
When I ended up losing my job with Hangar15 I thought the worst but out of that situation God had the best job I’ve ever had lined up for me. Crazy to think now that whatever comes my way all I need to do is trust God and he is going to work things out.
