Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I came to a point in my life where everything had fallen apart. I was diagnosed with a debilitating disease, was abandoned by my husband, caring for two small children, had just lost a parent, was pretty much homeless, and was having thoughts of suicide. I had grown up in church and had always felt safe there. I had just moved to a new town and was trapped in an abusive relationship. I looked for the nearest church and decided to attend one Sunday. The people there welcomed me in, especially one woman, now one of my dearest friends. She invited me to her house, watched my children during finals in college, and kept me under her wing. When I struggled she somehow knew, she would tell me how she was awakened to pray for me on multiple occasions, usually when I was tempted to do something wrong. I realized that she cared about me, so much that she woke in the middle of the night to pray for me, that Jesus cared that much about me to wake her up, or have her call, or invite me over. That instead of having a relationship based on what she could get out of me, like so many before, she wanted to give. Jesus wanted to give of himself. I wanted a relationship with a loving God like that. So I gave my life to the one who gave his life for me.
