Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I went to church when I was younger until about 5-6 years old. I resumed going to church with my friends when I was ~10 years old until I was 15. I was baptized when I was 12, but I don’t feel I was truly guided in understanding the meaning and delving into what it meant for my life. It wasn’t until our daughter was born and I was almost 29 years old that I realized all I had come to believe about the world couldn’t be true, and that it had to have been from intelligent design. My wife, daughter, and I began coming to Gateway in early 2018 and became a baptized believer in early 2019.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Madison Avenue Christian Church, Huntington, WV, Junior Deacon, 2 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Birth of our daughter

My upbringing and expectations set by my parents

Work stint abroad in Saudi Arabia

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Broken family. My brother and I don’t speak much anymore. My parents are divorced and don’t really talk. My nephew is a ward of the state of WV in a troubled teens youth academy in TN.

Financial troubles/ bad decisions and money-mismanagement in early adulthood.

Passing away of my maternal grandfather during late teenage years

1. My Relationship with GOD
