#1 Gift, Teaching (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My childhood and early adulthood was filled with exceptional teachers who inspired me to think deeply about life and become who God created me to be in relationship to Him and others. Other opportunities gave me teaching experience. There is great need for Biblical literacy and I believe God hopes to work through me to make Himself known as He truly is to the nation’s.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My mom was an encourager. So I was on the receiving end in my formative years and find that it is easily expressed through my spontaneous, present personality.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
My mom showed mercy. She taught me empathy so I have eyes to see the people who are overlooked, a heart that is drawn in their direction and just desires to be with them. I want them to feel safe so that they can grow, be restored.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I met Jesus through my mom in my childhood years, she had a powerful gift of faith and lived with genuine joy. I was brought up around sincere believers and encountered God in countless ways that grew a deep relationship. When I was old enough to realize I couldn’t live up to a perfect standard, I finally felt my desperate need for the mercy God and more fully experienced His forgiveness because I actually understood how broken I was.
