S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Harry Barrett for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
is an important way for me to imitate Christ, the One who gave all for me. Anonymous giving to others is what gives me the most joy. I love knowing that the amount I can give in worldly views is meaningless when it is put in His hands.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
in a background role is what I thrive on. In order for significant impact to be made, good leaders need good followers/supporters. I can fill that role.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
is a gift I am most effective at when teaming with another. I want people to understand the Truth. This becomes ever more important in a world that more forcefully now seeks to establish its own “truth”.
[H]eart
1. Anonymously surprising someone with what they need to lift them up.
2. Hearing conversations between my kids that reveals biblical understanding.
3. Spending time experiencing God’s creation whether that be in/on the woods or river, watching storms, or learning more about our cosmos. These are the things that make me say “Wow, Lord. You are amazing”.
I enjoy most ages, except middle school/jr. high. I particularly enjoy connecting with special needs children. Need to do that more.
I get uncomfortable when I see churches always needing to promote themselves. If we focus on promoting Christ then “branding” takes care of itself. Finding ways to partner with other Christ-centered congregations can keep us out of that trap.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
