Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was invited to church by my best friend in high school. Went to Young Life Camp in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Was confronted with the fact that I was a sinner headed for hell. Went to the Pastor in tears, who lead me through the sinner’s prayer. I have never regretted that decision.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

My husband was on staff for 18 years at the Potter’s House Family Worship Center in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. We ran an evangelistic children’s ministry where we had 6 vans going out twice a week. We were ministering to 140-170 at risk children per week.

Taught 2ND grade in Evart, MI for a half a year.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Forgiveness of and Leading my dad through the sinner’s prayer to receive Christ.

Working with the most severely physically handicapped child in all of Oakland County and interacting with the family.

Spending time with God reading His Word, and in prayer. Learning about who I am in Christ and how God has been a Father when my earthly dad could not be.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Was an outcast, and had no friends in elementary school.

Was raised in poverty, by a single mom, often. left alone, neglected

Alcoholic Father/Divorce
