S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Cassidy Nixon for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Teaching (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am good at it: I understand on a deeper level and can effectively convey in a way that is understandable to others.

#2 Gift, Prophecy (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I can easily and effectively point out what is contrary to God’s Word (as I understand it) in peoples lives and in scenarios playing out in front of me, and it is very natural for me to say something about it in an effort to bring about change: I love too much for the situation to continue happening as it is.

#3 Gift, Pastoring/Shepherding (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Discipleship is a heart’s desire for me: one-on-one/small group training & building up of an individual(s) so they are more empowered and effective in who they are called to be. I feel this is an important model in Scripture that is often overlooked or neglected in the modern church era, and should be addressed and put into motion.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Telling someone something is wrong/contrary, watching them listen, change their ways & return walking in freedom again is SUPER fulfilling!

2. Watching the eyes of someone’s understanding become enlightened right in front of you: someone grasping the concept of what you are trying to teach them

3. Building strong, healthy, deep, and mutually encouraging relationships fills my cup.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Mostly believers, any age really. I don’t relate well/have patients for the shenanigans of those who haven’t chose Christ yet & haven’t ever in my life built a community or desired to relate to this people group.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Discipleship, Correct Interpretation & Teaching of Biblical Truth, Complacency

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
