I’ve always had a fire for sharing the gospel. As I teen I even did door-to-door evangelism with a group of friends. I briefly considered becoming an international missionary after high school. Unfortunately, some of my boldness and enthusiasm has decreased over the years, but I still have a heart for missions and evangelism.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I was convicted of my sin and became a follower of Christ at age 10. I was baptized. I rebelled some in my early teen years, then repented and became more mature in my faith.
New Vision – nursery, preschool, children’s ministry for 10 years
President of Youth Alive in high school, led classmates in Bible studies
I had an older friend who encouraged me to share the gospel with friends and even strangers. She sparked a love for sharing my faith.
God’s providence in the circumstances of leading me to my husband
Attending New Vision – I learned so much and became more grounded and confident in my identity in Christ
Panic attacks (first negative, but God used for his glory and my growth)
My mom was a teen mom and I was raised mostly by my Grandmother. God has done an amazing work in mine and my mom’s relationship in the past few years. She is my spiritual mentor now.
My dad stood me up and left on the night before he was supposed to walk me down the aisle (long story – he was married to a manipulative woman). I learned so much about forgiveness and God as my father through the situation and the aftermath of that situation.
