Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t believe. My mother raised us to believe and to pray but we never went to church. I didn’t really come to know Christ until my 40s. My sister took me to see a production of Heaven’s Gates and hell’s flames. I was very moved and when the altar call came I went up and gave my life to Christ.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Lutheran Church in Grand Forks North Dakota in 1973. Youth worker

Barber Avenue United Methodist Church in Terre Haute Indiana in 1998 and 99. Vacation Bible School teacher

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My sister taking me under her wing when I was a teen and she and her husband showing me what a loving and stable home could be like.

My time in the Air Force

My sister helping me get settled and started over after I moved back to Indiana following my divorce

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Physical, mental, and sexual abuse in my childhood and my dad moving us an average of every 3 months for several years

My son being hit by a car sustaining severe head injury and severe compound fracture of his femur. He stopped breathing on the way to the hospital. He had to be put on a ventilator and was in a coma for 4 days. The doctors gave us little hope of survival. But thanks to God he made a complete recovery in time.

Going through two divorces. My first husband left me for another woman and my second husband decided he was gay and left me for men.
