S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Mysti Lancaster for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am surprised that this is my top score. I have no problems sharing the goodness of God, how He impacts my life and speaking in front of people. Maybe that’s why??
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
This is what I thought would be my number one area… I have been heavily involved in sports all of my life. I coached tennis for nearly 20 years. I do have a gift to teach and break down and pass along information in both a relatable and understandable way. I absolutely love the process of growth and development.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I was always “big” for my age. I was nicknamed Mama Mysti and Tree. I have always had natural instincts to take care of people. I was team captain of every team I played on. I listen extremely well and I keep my mouth shut! I had lots of practice through participation in athletics and many years of coaching all ages and all abilities.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
I was 8 years old when I became a follower of Jesus Christ. I went to a week-long revival at Center Baptist Church with my Grandfather. I asked him questions all week and he patiently explained everything to me. On the way home on the last night, I told him that I was ready to ask Jesus into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. When we got back to my house, we kneeled in my living room floor and he prayed with me.
Cartersville First Baptist, Cartersville/GA, no official position – where ever needed. 1 year
Playing college tennis – and the process of developing a game that was good enough to get to that level.
Finding a Sunday School class that supports each other and puts the word of God at the center of life.
Coaching tennis – I have so many valuable life lessons learned from my students. And other people’s kids gave me great practice for my own.
Failing to meet goals that I had set for myself in tennis and then in turn, nearly flunking out of school because I was depressed.
Growing up in a family with alcoholism, fighting, anger and selfishness, certainly not Christ centered.
Focusing on growing a business and neglecting almost everything else.
