My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in the Church and have always believed that God was real and at work in my life, my understanding growing as I did.

YUGO Ministries, Ensenada/Mexico, Intern>RA>Foreman, 2 Years.

Uptown Church, White Rock/BC/Canada, Preaching Elder/ 2 Years.

Union Gospel Mission, Vancouver/BC/Canada, Shelter Worker, 5 Months.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Living in Mexico as a missionary.

Falling in love with excellent fantasy literature built out of a strong Christian worldview such as “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Chronicles of Narnia”.

Growing up in a large, loving, Christ focused family.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Heartbreak from losing the relationship with a girl I thought I would marry.

Dealing with anxiety and depression within the house I grew up in, and within myself, forcing me to rely on God to get me through.

Dropping out of University the first time through after being unable to adjust to the requirements and expectations involved.
