Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Growing up, my family was not active in church, but I did occasionally attend church with a friend and God’s truth was planted in my heart. I became a blood bought, Spirit filled believer when I was 25 years old. A 12 year old neighbor asked me why I didn’t go to church and invited me to visit her church. God used that opportunity to convict me of my need for Him. My transformation was a 2Corinthians 5:17 experience. Christ changed my life, gave me a hunger and thirst for the Word and truly gave me a new heart.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

High school girls Sunday school teacher. 15 years, GA Director 6 years

ESOL Bible study teacher 5 years, VBS director 8 yrs

Bible study facilitator 7 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My first Inductive Bible study, and the next 6 years in an Inductive Bible study program

Teaching teenagers and growing with them

A weekly prayer group with 3 other women for 10 years who are still my prayer partners today, my accountability and my greatest encouragers.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

A house fire when I was a new Christian. As I watched the fire God gave me the verse “Don’t store up for yourselves treasures on earth …. but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven….For where you treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Mt 6:19-21 . He supplied me with Faith, Hope and encouragement.

A 4 week cancer scare. He spoke to me “I will give perfect peace to him whose mind is stayed on me and trusts in me.” Is 26:3 as I left the Doctor’s office. Teaching to trust in Him and a reminder He is always with me.

A rebellious teenager. God saw us through this difficult time as He showed us He was in control and “He would complete the good work He did in this child until the day of Christ Jesus.” Phil 1:6 And that He is faithful!
