S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Robin Narron for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

1. Going out on the boat with my family & seeing dolphins swim with us near the beach.
2. Standing on the top deck at the beach and watching the waves. God reminds me how mighty and powerful He is. I feel close to him there & am reminded of all my blessings.
3. Spending time watching my children do what they love. Laura is a performer who loves to sing and dance. Jackson loves to play ball of almost any kind & loves video games (I am not a big fan of those but try to join him in Mario sometimes)
I enjoy youth and also enjoy adults. I love children of all ages. There aren’t many people I don’t get along with or enjoy.
I love bible studies where I can grow as a Christian and share experiences with others who are also growing and learning. I am always looking for new ways to learn.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
My youth leader spoke to us in a way that brought God near. He brought us popular music that was Christian and taught us the Bible as I had never heard it. As a child, I never missed a Sunday so I knew all of the stories. However, it was people in a distant place and time. Kevin was able to relate to us & with his leadership, my walk was strengthened. I was saved many years prior, but never baptized until his leadership. As a young adult, I made some choices that I am not proud of and spent time away from church. After having children, I feel my faith is stronger now than it ever was.

Craig and I got married!!! We have built a wonderful life together – 18 years of marriage in June & over 20 years together…….
Laura and Jackson were born! I became a mother & knew I was meant to be!! There is no love like a parent’s love…..
I was able to graduate from college with honors & almost 16 years later got my CPA license (which was a goal after graduating).
When I was a senior in HS, I had a terrible wreck. Several bones were broken & to see the pictures, I shouldn’t be alive. After many surgeries and weeks in the hospital, I returned to school in a wheelchair. That year, I was able to walk across the stage to receive my diploma!!
My daughter was diagnosed with Benign Rolandic Epilepsy at 8 years old. There was nothing I could do and no way to protect my baby. I ended up on my knees – just me praying – from that day, I know God has it all worked out!!
My parent’s house was hit by a car & condemned by the county when I was in college. My sister, dad & I were home when the wreck happened. It was a scary time!!
