My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

My girlfriend lost her husband to a heart attack, and her reaction to his tragic death led me to Christ. I had been searching, but seeing how calm she was in the midst of chaos was something I wanted.

Morning Star Community Church, teaching women’s bible studies.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

My parents raising me with discipline and showing me that I can do just about anything when I apply myself.

Going through my first divorce and learning that I had enough strength to take care of myself and my kids.

Working in the restaurant business and meeting a host of new people, helping people, guiding employees, making an impact in the community.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Going through my first divorce, the pain and self doubt it created. So I have a heart for young women who find themselves in a similar situation.

Losing my mother to Alzheimer’s. Watching her personality and who she was disappear, but learning the new person she was becoming. It was hard to grieve her loss before she passed.

Health challenges, eating disorders, being overweight, being unhealthy and finding a way to get healthy.
