[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Intimacy with my Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit.

2. Reading the word

3. Sharing with others, helping anyone who cries for help, I believe I have there answer – Jesus.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

When I got saved – 1998, God had me do events for the youth in Miami. When I began missionary trips, God had me reach children and families. On our preparation for pastoral duties, a passion for adults, couples, marriages. Families specifically I would say is very intense right now, as been for a while.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

What concerns me, when I can see anything that divides. I love unity, therefore hate division. Excites me, when I hear the poor are tended too… When there is a genuine passion to help the poor/those in needs.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up in a strong Christian home. Its all I’ve known. My mom prayed for me constantly. She would write my name next to promises and psalms in the bible. I believe she was the most influential person God used.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Served at Christ the Rock – Cooper City, Florida, greeter, online group, missionary trip to Cuba. 2002 – 2004. Here I received my calling to missions.

Pneuma Church – Missions, Miami, Fl. 2004 – 2020

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

1. Oh that’s easy, 2 months after being saved, I drove to Orlando, Fl. to Benny Hinn’s church. Baptist in the Holy Spirit that day, glorious for this x Baptist!

2. Attending the greatest church, the 1st church as a believers, a place and pastor I will never forget and feel so so grateful to have begun with such an amazing pastor.

3. Having moved and lived fulltime abroad near Haiti. Life altering experience!

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Seeing a church divide since I was a kid. This could be why I’m so passionate about peace and unity.

In 1998 I went through a season of being alone, feeling loneliness. I had not felt that before that time. Its given me passion for the lost, I understood them more after that experience. Not having Jesus brings these types of feelings.

I had a joyful, loving, affectionate mom – Magaly. To see her with cancer and see my dad having to shave her long black hair was one of the most confronting things to see. I hate cancer, sickness, and it stirred in me to be more conscience of praying for the sick, being available for the sick.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. To have families to pastor. Makes me cry just to think of this awesome opportunity (for hispanics) I dream of this. I pray for this often. I dream and believe this can happen, to own again a land so on weekends we can all go there as a family. To have retreats in that land with cute, cozy cabins, for men, women, marriages, teens and children. To have a space for the youth there with activities. Activities in that land for children. I’ve always dreamed of a Cafe, for youth and young adults to call there own on weekends.

4. To go back to that village were we lived for nearly a decade and take a buldozer, and built a tiny town, with new homes for them, park, green grass, side walks, gardens, a tracktor so they can cultivate the land.

5. I dream/desire to do a water well in our ministry farm near Haiti. To buy a small compact tracktor and build the pastors we left there a nice small home next to the nice bathroom we got to build there last in 2017.
