Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
Grew up in a blended family, lost, and secular in Las Vegas, NV. Half my family is mormon, half catholic. Lived in NY for a couple years and had a transition of moving back to Las Vegas at almost 16, got involved in a Christian Church. Loved it and found passion and gifting in serving with kids, but didn’t know Jesus. Met a man who did Know Jesus and he gave me my first Bible, discipled me, walked with me. After realizing the idolatry in man, was delivered from bad relationships and even the good relationship with this man. God revealed Himself to me through His Word and I could see Jesus for who He was and that He was enough. I was created for Him. He spoke to me in 1 Corinthians 5, Psalm 37:4, Ecclesiastes 3, and the Gospels. He delivered me from addictions, insecurities, and idolatry, redeemed my life and has used me just like the samaritan woman. I was baptized after throwing off sin tangibly for 6 months, and I knew my identity in Jesus, and gained confidence in my salvation. I wanted to proclaim Him and show the picture and symbol of the Gospel through baptism. God brought the man who led me to the Lord back into my life and built us a strong foundation in Him, not ourselves. He said yes in Him and now we are married with 2 boys and 1 on the way. He has used our testimony and called us to plant a church in Las Vegas called WALK Church that is a thriving family that we love!
Central Christian Church, Las Vegas, NV, Kids Ministry Leader, Operations and Family Ministries Intern, 5 years.
Hope Church, Las Vegas, NV, Kids Ministry Leader, Teacher at Preschool, Pastors wife, 2 years.
Meeting with another pastors wife/ other ministry leaders and their wives before I even became one
Being a part of staff meetings and developing plans and goals creating an effective and thriving ministry
Loving someone with boundaries and for the glory of God rather than what’s acceptable in the world and for selfish ambition
being isolated in family functions, coming from a divorced family and into a blended one, always feeling like the black sheep which I then struggled with wanted attention and desiring self glory
negative ministry experience from a couple who had talent but not vision or a heart for the bigger picture and reconciliation
being delivered from a homosexual relationship when I was 18 and set free to walk in what I was created for!
