Thank you Nathanael Fairburn for taking the SHAPE Assessment. [H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Connecting with people. Peers, people in authority over me, and those younger than me. I feel fulfilled when I spend time with others one on one.

2. Hearing from God. Whether it is through studying Hebrew or journaling to God and writing down what I hear, my relationship with God is extremely satisfying to me.

3. Working with my hands. Sometimes I discount how much my craft means to me, but the reality is that it is very relaxing to me and a form of self-expression.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

People near my age. Either in high school or college. But I am glad to have opportunities to help anyone God leads me to.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Family counseling has always been an interest of mine. However, youth and young adult ministries are exciting to me.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up in church but met God personally during a corporate fast when I got serious about reading the Bible and journaling to God.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Church of the King in Mandeville leading high school small groups and serving at youth events.

Church of the King in Metairie leading high school small groups and serving at youth events.

Running camera for Church of the King, and Film Revolutions in Baton Rouge and Atlanta.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Working with Hayden Boudreaux and learning from him personally has taught me to be analytical and inquisitive, but still full of faith.

Getting a job in New Orleans with unbelievers taught me a lot about how to not be awkward around people and to be relatable to people with different backgrounds.

Moving into a house for a while with some older (20’s) men from church. I loved hearing from them on such a consistent basis was an excellent season.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being in several very manipulative dating relationships has given me a hypersensitivity to manipulative language and unhealthy relationships. It’s clear instantly when a relationship is unhealthy.

I loved working with my dad growing up, but there were many times I did not like the way he treated me when I made mistakes. I cried a lot in my room during this season, but it taught me how to be more professional when I work and to communicate better.

I went to India in August 2019, and I was not very prepared for it. I had a good time on the trip, but I felt so alone around my team because their personalities did not mix well with mine. Coming home, I felt out of place everywhere I went for months. This taught me to insure that I invest time into the people around me instead of waiting for them to do so to me.

  • Everyone Else After those

3. Counsel people who are doubting and struggling.

4. Build and steward a healthy family and home.
