S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Nicco Diaz for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

I’ve rediscovered this is my gift. I did it in the past, but got away from it. I have a desire to share the gospel via evangelism.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I believe that there have been times where I gave a word and it fit the circumstance perfectly or it came to pass. Others have noticed this too.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Throughout my walk with the Lord, I’ve been told that people feel encouraged after speaking with me. Not that I do anything special. It’s just the Lord speaking through me.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I got saved January 30,2013. It started when I was introduced to the Gospel when I was about 10. But when I got into highschool, I backslid for a long time. A series of events lead to my salvation. I began to see the signs of the end times and I had the fear of God. I had been considering going back to church. I felt a strong conviction of my sins. On January 30th,2013, I surrendered my life to Christ. I was on the floor with my face to the ground and I asked Jesus to forgive me. A few months before my salvation, a gentleman and his friends prayed for me and prayed for my salvation at a local car meet. 8 years later, here I am. It hasn’t been easy, but God has made it possible.
2016-2019 Wedding officiant / Ordained minister, various locations
Mesa Baptist Church 2014-15, served as an usher and a part of the security team.
Last summer in August 2020, the Lord gave me a taste of how much He loves me. The sky seemed more blue, the colors I saw were brighter, I was on cloud nine because I was so full of joy and I felt loved by God. This happened during a difficult season in my life. Ive known that God loves me, but to experience it, changed me. I have never and have yet to experience anything like what I experienced that day. It was a prayer answered.
The day I got married was one of the happiest days of my life. I couldn’t stop smiling. Nothing or no one was going to steal our joy that day.
Veterans day 2019, me and my wife went to the ASU veterans day event. They called all the veterans out to come to the center. They invited anyone who wanted, to come up and shake our hands. It seemed like everyone there shook our hands and thanked us for our service. I also thanked them for supporting the troops as they shook my hand. I was moved by their willingness to shake a stranger’s hand who served them. I also felt graceful for their support. People like them would send us care packages and letters. It made being down range in Iraq a little more enjoyable.
I use to street race. I loved driving fast. But I got so many tickets, racked up so many fines. My license was suspended for many years. I lost job opportunities because of my bad record. I went to jail for racing and for not paying my fines. But God forgave me and helped me restore my driver’s license. I don’t owe any fines. I drive safely on the road. I race, but now I am a member of a national racing association and I race on a race track, not public roads. I do not condone street racing at all. I’m teaching my kids to drive safe and taking them to the track. I feel compassion for many “car guys”. They worship their cars. Without their car, they have nothing. I want to show them that they can worship Jesus instead of their cars. To share the gospel with them and disciple new believers. Also, to show them a fun and legal way to race.
I use to tip poorly. But when I had to work delivering groceries and depended on tips; And people wouldn’t tip me or tip very little after all my effort…that changed my view on tipping. I tip much better now because I understand how it feels to bust your behind for someone and they show no gratitude. Those few extra dollars DO make a difference.
Being homeless after I got out of the army made me work hard to make sure me and my family always have a roof over our heads.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. I would start a motorsport ministry. I’d go to local car events to share the gospel and be Christian with non Christians to be the light of the world. I’d help pay for entry fees and racing licenses and racing helmets for those who can’t afford it. I’d open my garage at my home up to work on cars and disciple new believers. I’d have an online ministry to go along with it so I could share the word of God, and share pics at events. I’d want to help believers who want to get into racing, a way to do it and they have a brother in Christ at the track to help them.
4. I’d like to raise money, food, water, clothes and donations up to the Navajo reservation. Also go around Phoenix passing out free food and water to the needy. But also most importantly giving them the message of the Gospel.
5. I would open a church and I would be the Pastor of that church.
