S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Erika for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I recognize what I have or own is not mine, nor has it ever been. So if what I have is not truly mine, but a blessing from the Lord, why should I claim it as my own and not use it to bless others?
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
To me, serving and giving can be one in the same, so it’s hard to differentiate. I would say serving is my favorite way of showing Christ’s love. I just feel like, especially in a “me-dominated” society, serving allows me to put aside my wants and desires specifically to bless other people.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I was slightly surprised by the revelation of this gifting. When I was younger, I was quick to point fingers and make assumptions. As I have grown in my faith, however, I have seen God’s unfailing mercy towards me in my life and my only desire is to show others His great mercy.
[H]eart
1. Providing assistance to others when they are in need (household needs, meals, financial needs, babysitting, etc…)
2. Being intentional in my relationships with others. Getting together to reflect, fellowship, and encourage one another
3. Staying healthy and active and encouraging others to do the same.
I really enjoy working with people who are older and more experienced than me. I love the idea of mentorship in that aspect. However, I am content to work with people of all ages and I desire fellowship with people closer to my age.
I feel like, being so young, it is difficult for me to feel like I can make a substantial difference in the lives of others. I like being able to meet the needs of others in a feasible way – like participating in work projects.
