#2 Gift, Giving (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am the oldest of 4. My parents were drug addicted and alcoholics. I was always responsible for my younger siblings. Now as a mother I continue to give all I have to my children and husband. Even after I’ve felt there was t any left to give. I would love to continue to grow this in my life.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
There will always be things in this life we cannot change. I’ve had my fair share of Scars left by this life. But as soon as I found god his light has shown brighter the any star. I want to learn how to help other see this.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. My heart has always been for healing people.

2. Guiding people to read the Bible

3. I want to help communities become better.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I’m not sure. I am a new Christian. I have young children and a stubborn husband. I don’t have much experience.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I am worried about people only skimming the surface of Christianity. I think of it quite often. If people preaching really know what they are preaching or if they like the title and the money behind it. About the state of our community, the growing selfish greed of many corporations.

I am excited; to always hear the good news. Talking with, reading about, or watching stories about Christians working together to tackle issues of injustice, hunger, thirst, or medical.

[A]bilities

My current vocation:

I currently am reading through the Bible multiple times trying to find my place.

Other jobs I have experience in:

I am self motivated in learning. Seeking out what I want to know and places I can learn what I didn’t know I wanted to know. I organize learning activities for my homeschool children and often try to organize bible study with my husband. Which ends with me learning it alone.

Special talents/skills that I have:

I can see god working through the bad things. I’ve always been a peron people go to when they are stressed or need advice. Now as an adult I tend to give it out to often. I would like to learn how to be more organized with that.

I have taught a class or seminar on:

Mainly for introduction into books of the Bible and to my kids. Courses in marriage but they are for myself. I would love to get with other and teach classes on any number of subjects.

I feel my most valuable personal asset is:

Listening and pointing people to god.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

There were brief moments ground up where the topic of god was brought up. But it was rare. Each time it was impactful and left me hungry to know more. But it wasn’t till I was about 19. When circumstances left me with only him to grasp onto. I feel hard. Everything that had ever happen made sense. It was this explosion of beauty. Immediately I had to learn to grasp god alone and with all I had. It’s been a wild ride since.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Pleasent valley baptise church liberty missouri. In nursery

Newlife city church also in nursery

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

People unknowingly pointing me towards god

Being a parent

K-love radio

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Growing in an abusive home

Divorce

Depression

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. No road blocks? I would want to work on a team to help abolish money. It would take motel plannning and even more baby steps but that is what I would do. You can not serve god and serve money. And what stops everyone from doing what is right. “Money”

4. Saving environment. God banished us from the garden. We have spent all of humanity trying to recreate it. We are so close to completely destroying it.

5. Arming people with the knowledge that they are worth it. No matter what their life has said other wise.
