Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I have been in church my entire life. As a youth in a rural area of Virginia, our church and youth group was part of my social life. As I matured, I learned to lean on God for strength as I faced life’s challenges, divorce, death of parents and brother. My faith has been stronger during certain times of my life but my faith has grown as I studied the Bible and became more involved in my church. It’s true that you get more by serving and giving.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Lakeland Charge – Bracey/Lacrosse, VA Rehoboth and Kingwood Churches.

I was the lay speaker, wrote a church newsletter, taught an adult SS class and served in the choir. I also helped with vacation Bible school and was on several committees.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Family – I believe that our families must be intact in order for our children to grow and develop as healthy adults, those who can serve and help others.

The family unit in our country has deteriorated so badly that our children are doing such things as turning to drugs and school shootings. They have no coping skills for dealing with life’s challenges.

I learned how to live in a community, communicate, and problem solve in my family and church. It does take a village to raise children.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Divorce

RN, Healthcare career. My career forced me to see some of the horrible positions that bad decisions can lead to and the consequences of addictions.

Leadership roles . This is not a negative but I have learned to look for strengths in groups so that we can accomplish goals.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Help families by teaching coping skills and lifeskills.

4. Sing and lead others to Christ through music.

5. I am waiting for God to direct me here.
