Thank you Nick Lading for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

[H]eart
1. I really love my time with my wife and how our relationship is constantly growing and even when it’s growing in a slow pace, and how God works in us.
2. The small men’s connect group that we have on Thursday has become a way of breathing. Just doing fellowship and bible study with these group of hungry and knowledgeable guys has giving me new life.
3. God has changed my attitude to how I look at my job. I really enjoy talking with the people at work and the accomplishment I get from just doing my job even when it seems to not be going good.
The men’s ministry has been a blessing to me and to be able to fellowship with the men of the church of all ages has filled me with encouragement and hope for our future generations.
One of the biggest issues I see has been the way people see the church. I want them to understand that the church is necessary and enjoyable. That we are no different than them in the sense that we still struggle with life and understanding of it but that we have hope and life through our Savior and we are a family.

Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I have always believed in God as far back as I can remember. I didn’t start getting closer to God till I started having marriage problems and went through a divorce. During my divorce was some of the most intimate and spiritual moments with my Lord and Savior.
Part of a men’s group at my previous church and even lead a few lessons.
Vineyard Church of Northridge. Springfield, Ohio around 5 years.
Facilitated Financial Peace University.
Vineyard Church of Northridge, Springfield, Ohio for 2 years.
Co-facilitator at Thursday Men’s group.
Fellowship Springhill, Springfield, Ohio for a little less than a year.
My divorce from a previous marriage. I know this may not seem like a positive but the way I felt at peace with God it was a whole different experience than I ever though it would be.
Marrying my present wife.
Being a part of a men’s group and having fellowship with some really Godly men who are real with each other.
My previous marriage before my divorce. It was very rocky and rough till we separated.
The death of my step-mom. I watched her go through a vicious lung cancer that completely broke her body.
I have had a few friends who have died from suicide and without knowing that they felt they had no other option has always been a struggle in my mind.
