Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I was born and raised in a Christian home and attended Central Baptist Church (Stoney Creek). At one evening service, the pastor was preaching on John 3:17-18; even at the age of 6 1/2 and, in the King James Version, I understood that I was condemned, unless I asked Christ Jesus to cleanse me. So, that night, at home after church, I asked my father some questions. Our discussion resulted in me kneeling in repentance and asking Jesus to be my Saviour. Easter Sunday 1971, I was baptized, publicly declaring my desire to live for God. Although my teen years were a little rocky, I have been living for the Lord, ever since. And, now, my testimony is to glorify Him and further His kingdom.
Sunday School teacher, VBS teacher and helper, nursery worker, mid week children’s program, ladies Bible study leader, missions committee,
Churches: Wortley Baptist (1974-1984), West London Alliance (1986-1997)
Westpark Baptist(1998-2009) Stoney Creek Baptist(2011-now)
Being served a fresh cup of coffee after arriving late to Ladies coffee hour with my children (ages 5,3,1 , newborn). It meant SO much to me in my time of exhaustion, now serving others is a blessing to me.
Getting married and having 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls)
Going on some mission/service trips both here and abroad
My father’s death – I witnessed the church family coming along side us ….not just at that time , but season after season, for the next 4 years, helping my Mom until us kids were old enough to carry on.
Growing up poor, I know what it is like to be hungry and not have the right/size clothes, or running for the bus in rain or a blizzard. Having “suffered” a little bit has made me more compassionate.
Our daughter’s marriage fell apart on her honeymoon. I really felt like God had let me down. Why hadn’t He stopped the marriage or warned us. It affected our whole family and now I can share how clinging to God got me through and have compassion for those whose marriage falls apart – sometimes not even their fault.
