[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love to spend time with my family, watching a movie, eating dinner or playing games

2. I love learning more about Jesus and God’s grace, it helps me grow as a person, mom, wife, boss, and friend

3. I really enjoy people, their stories, life, laughing with them and I would love to learn to help them grow in Christ as well as myself together.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love all ages, the younger kids are more difficult for me so I would say preteen and older.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

When you have family, there always seems to be issues if we like them or not, I can’t think of any concerns right now, but I love how we have handled the issues we have had most recently. I’m very excited about the future church of SCOG and reaching the Spanish speaking community, that fills my heart with joy! I also like the small groups that are being brought forward, I just need to find one for me.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

As an adult and having children I knew I wanted them to be raised in the church. I believe God was leading people to me who kept inviting me to the same church, finally I went. And I kept going and each week was something I needed to hear and God’s word changed me, one day at church the Pastor had us say a prayer with him if we wanted to be saved by Christ and allow him into our lives and I did.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Faith Wesleyan in Atkinson Nebraska, I served at the coffee bar a few times is all. I attended that church for 2 years before we moved to Colorado

Christ Community Church in Greeley is where I was saved as an adult. I served in the nursery once a month for 2 years?? Not sure

Stratton Church of God, I serve on Children’s ministry, Livestream team (before that it was mevo), Hospitality team (coffee bar and welcome desk), help with Youth, lead a teen girls youth study, and serve on the Elder Board.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

The story of my husband’s brain tumor, before knowing, going through the storm of it and the moves that went after.

Learning to worship God well through music and allowing the Holy Spirit to forgive me

Asking others that I have wronged to forgive me and letting them know that I have forgiven them too.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

My divorce, Married when I was 19 divorced when I was 20.

My selfish life before Christ.

My love for money, I never had enough and spent everything that I had, my debt was great.

Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. to be able to share a story from my past without fear of disappointment or judgement

4. to have a “Women of Faith” weekend at our church. A place to come a learn and talk and forgive and worship God as sisters in Christ. To love one another and support one another

5. For our Church to Grow through God’s guidance and love. To show people who Christ is and that everyone especially the broken (because that is me) is welcome here with no judgement
