This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
of my upbringing. I know what it’s like to be without, and I recognize that all I have belongs to God. I want to bless others how he’s blessed me.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I don’t think I have this skill – yet. I feel I lack a knowledge of the Bible to speak on it. That being said, I can comfortably use my testimony to speak to others in “real” terms.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
this has been most of my career – administrative tasks. I enjoy organization and planning, and want to help others become more organized, and therefore more effective.
[H]eart
1. Create an environment for people to meet Jesus – to be a part of something bigger than myself to make church more “approachable” and less intimidating.
2. Singing worship music – this is how I connect to God and communicate words I don’t feel I always have.
3. Connect with other Christians and doing life together. I enjoy tight-knit relationships with other Christian women to share my story and to grow in my own faith.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I didn’t grow up in church (beyond Easter and maybe Christmas), and had a natural curiosity around God since the age of 8 or 9 and would visit churches with friends. My mom was saved when I was 16, where I also gave my life to Christ, not really knowing what that commitment meant. I grew to resent church and God due to the abuse at home happening right under the church’s nose with no intervention. When I was in college, Campus Crusaders were on campus and I went to an event and met a friend. After going a few more times, I recommitted my life to Christ and was baptized. I walked away from church unknowingly and recommitted in 2015 at Journey.
Journey, Fairview Park/Ohio, ProPresenter tech, 2 years
Journey, Fairview Park/Ohio, women’s ministry (1 time)
Journey, Fairview Park/Ohio, Laura’s Home server, 2.5 years
College – getting out of my home, meeting new people and finding out who I was
Being on the worship & tech team
First time I saw the ocean
Living in a home with alcoholism and abuse
Being betrayed in college by someone who I thought was a friend
Being bullied in school / growing up overweight
