Searched, found no one to mention Jesus even though I was brought up in a church-going family and continued attendance. Met the Father when he tapped me on the shoulder at a youth conference. After our young son died, I told Jesus he would have to live my life for me because I couldn’t do it. Put out my hand, felt his. Encountered the Holy Spirit one morning while reading Nine O’Clock in the Morning eight months later after suffering a miscarriage. Life was never the same after that day.

3. Give heart understanding to music worship leaders that our God does not need bodies to suffer from crashing drums in order for Him to hear our music. I would want them to understand that ears, especially young ones are damaged by crashing cymbals amplified, and that heart beats can actually be changed by any rhythms that are loud and irregular. God is not honored by mantra-like repetitions, and my heart aches weekly for the loss of solid blocks of scripture lost when old hymns are left behind. When life is deep, it’s the old beloved hymns that minister, not repeated words with unsingable tunes.

4. I would love to go on another mission trip.
