S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Olivia Dakters for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love being a friend to people, but more specifically one on one rather than in groups. I appreciate when another person can confide in me and i am able to encourage them and give advise.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I feel i have always spoken up and given my opinion in most conversations. I can be bold and opinionated, but can explain my opinions in a logical and respectful way. Even though i may be introverted, I do take the time to teach others when the opportunity arrises, and it is important to me that people know the truth.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I am able to forgive others mistakes in a way that allows me to love them regardless of their sin. I hurt for those hurting and have a desire to comfort those who need comforting.

1. Babies! I view babies and children as God’s little miracles, and it brings me joy and fulfillment to be able to comfort a crying baby or make a chid laugh.
2. Giving advice. I love when close friends come to me for advice, or let me know when they’re struggling so that I can help.
3. Thoughtful actions. I love to surprise people with thoughtful actions they didn’t see coming. Gifts or service they didn’t expect, but was greatly needed.
I love working most with babies and small children. The innocent or fearful, and those that need comforting and companionship most. One on one is most meaningful to me.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
Raised a Christian in a Christian home. Accepted Jesus into my heart as a young child. Baptized as a teen, and then again as a young adult.
Mission Trip to Panama (through Harvest Ridge Church)
Nursery worker at First Baptist, 1 year (while attending MVNU for college).
College ministry programs included nursing home visits, and after school children outreach activities.
Nursery worker at Journey Fairview.
The mission trip to Panama opened my eyes to people who have never heard of the love of Jesus, and the power you can feel praying over someone who doesn’t even speak the same language.
Working with the young children in the after school programs while i was in college made me fall in love with children more, and the things you learn about their family situations just breaks your heart.
Traveling to China to adopt my little sister was a positive experience i will never forget, and still to this day reminds me that every person created by God on this earth is special, no matter their race, or color of skin.
Struggling through a dating relationship, being cheated on, rejected, and heart broken has definitely given me the ability to relate to other young women who have experienced heart break, or who are trying to find their worth in a boyfriend rather than in God.
My roommate in college attempting to commit suicide and ending up in a mental hospital really tested my friendship, and caused me to think about life in a whole new way. I have learned how to relate to those with mental illness, and how to be there for them.
