May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have these gifts because I have studied God’s word since high school and have done a number of teaching roles throughout my ministerial life.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Didn’t think prophecy would have been one, but I do go back and forth in attempting to understand the book of Revelation and Genesis in how I should live in today’s society. In other words, if I am born for this time period then there is a Godly reason why.
[H]eart
1. Being outside working and hearing from God
2. Fixing things
3. Seeing a process go from an idea to something that works more efficiently
I love to work most with individuals who aren’t afraid of the “status quo” in other words people who don’t follow the crowd and are unashamed of their faith or who they are. Pretty much all ages if one is willing to learn.
I’m concerned that as a body of believers we seem to want to get away with worked my age growing up. I get this is a new year, but the principles that allowed us to grow as a child of God don’t change. Studying the word, memorizing books of bible/scripture, being held accountable, respecting elders, etc….

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Beaver’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.
Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility
[E]xperience
As many my age, I was made to attend church with parents, grand parents, uncles/aunties but it wasn’t until high school while playing baseball and watching a teammate, Brian Cox, demonstrate his walk with Christ and not cussing or throwing his bat after a strike out impressed to the point of wanting to have what he had and as a sophomore in high school I accepted Christ as my personal savior.
Hope’s House – Deacon, Marriage Ministry, Children’s church instructor, Experience New Hope, Teleios, Camp Hope Director
Faithful Central – Marriage Ministry, Men’s Fellowship
St. John Baptist Church – BTU teacher, youth bible study instructor, youth usher instructor
A challenge from high school Sunday school teacher, Charles Moore, to get a study bible and study the word for myself has been the foundation for me in studying God’s word.
My dad taught my brother and I about the benefits of respecting elders and it has paid huge dividends throughout my life
Becoming a father
Becoming a father before being married has given me a compassion that children don’t get to choose their situation and the great responsibility as a dad that someone is counting on you
Divorce, has given me a compassion to understand God’s love and second chances. Doesn’t mean you escape the consequences, but His love helps you still fulfill the destiny He has for you.
Having been on welfare many times growing up has given me a great compassion for not allowing circumstance to define who I am. Economic standing isn’t who I am.
Wrapping It Up

- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. Ministering to high school athletes
4. Teaching others how to fulfill their dreams
5. I would teach/instruct more at HH
