This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I do love to give, both financially, but also with my time and talents. I feel God has blessed me a lot in my life and He always replenishes my cup, so I don’t mind giving as much as I can for His glory.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I consider myself someone who is organized, focused, and goal-oriented. I do well with leadership both in explaining and communicating vision, but also handling the emotional side of leading groups of people.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love encouraging people, especially when they’re struggling. Most of the time, it’s just listening. But listening with a nonjudgmental ear is one of the greatest gifts you could give someone.
[H]eart
1. I love to write and create stories.
2. I love to lead and manage teams. The more passionate I am about the project and the most fun the group is, the happier I am.
3. Having a one-on-one conversation with someone that I connect with emotionally and intellectually. Helps me understand myself and reach further truths about the world.
Introverts, smart and intellectual people, humble people, funny and generous people, people my age and older, people are team players and are willing to take on the responsibility and equally contribute to the end result.
How the church is manifested in the world, such as through government and social justice, how women are treated in the church, and subsequently how men are treated and taught to see themselves. I love working the nursery and with kids. I love creative ministries like the choir and praise dance.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
Growing up in a Christian home, I was always surrounded with Christian values. I did not acquire a fully personal relationship with God, in my opinion, until high school when I was faced with depression after my brother went to college. I remember asking God to heal me from depression and I would serve Him forever. When I got better, I kept my promise and worked to develop a deep relationship with God that lasts until today.
Praise Dance ministry, numerous churches and college ministries
Childcare and Nursery ministry at Mount Paran Church in Atlanta and other ministries
Choir in Kuumba Singers
Falling in love for the first time with an unbeliever. Seeing his pain and the life he had had lived and his journey in his faith taught me about the healing power of God’s love for us. It made me passionate about spreading that to others
Going to college and being away from home for the first time. I saw that my values were maintained and I was a positive light in people’s lives. Helped them see the best in themselves and selflessly served communities.
Being in Atlanta before law school. The joy of hanging out with my coworkers and spending time with my church friends. The freedom of going out in the city and feeling safe. So much variety and color and vibrancy of life. But still felt sheltered in my beautiful house that felt like a treehouse. It was all mine and I had the control over making all the parts of the house fit my needs. I felt peace and didn’t have the same need to run the rat race or compete with my peers. I felt really content.
Getting my heart broken when I left Atlanta. Losing my first love and my best friends and having to start all over again with the demanding pressures of law school. I felt very isolated and alone in Boston, like I lost all the beautiful things I had gained while I lived in Atlanta.
Physical intimacy at a young age that made me feel ashamed. But working through that and offering it up to God helped me to grow and see myself as not tied to or determined by that experience.
Dealing with depression off and on for years. It is a scary experience and it can often feel like I was constantly running from it during my adolescent years. Now, I don’t feel it as much. But it still sometimes feels like it’s lurking in the back. I have found ways to fight back now that I like to share with others and help them heal from their experiences with mental health challenges.
