[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love serving others that can not help themselves. It brings me joy knowing I have helped people. I am always ready and willing to serve people that are in need of help.

2. I love to solve problems and issues that revolve around people who are lost and need compassion and love. I love to give people advice that helps them spiritually and physically grow as a person

3. I am a people person. I love interacting with people that share the same values as me. However, if they don’t share the same values I am happy to express my beliefs and share my experiences with them and show them why I believe what I believe

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love working with various types of people. However I can work the most efficiently with people that express the same values and beliefs as me. It is also helpful if those people offer advice to me that will help me improve.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

All ministries excite me. I have always had a passion towards ministry. I hope that one day I can express my passion for ministry in a more deliberate way.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was born into a Catholic household and have grown over the years to have ecumenical beliefs. Going to Christian camps and being involved in the church has led to my belief in Christ.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Barnabas Family ministries is a big part of my life and fundamental in creating the person I am today. The camp leaders there have shown me how to be a affluent Christian in day to day life.

Beyond Malibu taught me to depend on Him in tough times and that intern has shown me to persevere through difficult situations.

2 years ago I received a letter saying that I could “make a wish”. That experience made me realize that I need to be more grateful for the life I have been given.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Grade 9 I lost my faith and it was a difficult time for me and my family. However, through the grace of God, I was brought back to the faith and since then my faith has been strengthened.

This past summer one of my best friends severely hurt herself in a terrible biking accident. Through the bad I again learned to trust in God and discovered new passions of mine. In particular, wilderness first aid and first responding.

When I was 7 years old, I was diagnosed with a congenital heart condition called Long QT Syndrome. Over the years I have learned to integrate this diagnoses into my daily life and uncertainty about my future. This has helped me trust in God.
