S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Paige for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

#1 Gift, Giving (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I’m always giving something away that I value. I’ve always been this way without an explanation just giving to others.

#2 Gift, Evangelism (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I’m not so sure about this one, but I know that what God has done in my life and continues to do is something worth sharing and that excites me pointing others to Christ.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
This is one that I know I’m gifted in. I know just how important the words that you speak affect those around you. I never want someone to feel as hopeless and unimportant or unwanted as I used to feel. Having my identity rooted in Christ allows me to be able to see the beauty in others and their value. That alone gives me encouraging words to speak over their life.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love creating. Whether it’s a painting class, an online visual or a diy project. Creating something beautiful out of nothing is exciting to me. I love Music & art. The variety and talent that is out there is amazing. I am very much an admirer of all things music and artistically creative. I guess that’s not exactly something you “do” but I love it. Dancing! I love dancing and i wish I was better at it.

2. Health and wellness! It’s such a world of information (some good and some bad) that shape today’s culture on what you’re supposed to eat how you should look etc. I just love learning to love myself how I am and working to take care of the body that God has given me.

3. Traveling. Immersing myself into a new culture or just being in different place other than where I call home. It just feels so liberating to go somewhere and experience a different atmosphere.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

People that can “go with the flow”, people that can turn a bad situation around and make a toxic environment more peaceful but just being there. I love working with people my age and older.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Definitely my age group (20s- 30s) staying in church and actually living for Christ. I few young adults especially where I live, that want to live for Christ and live out their purpose.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in the church, but fully understood and allowed God to change me when I went away to college and nothing was going the way I planned. I ended having to come back home where I was able to get funding for school and a job (where I couldn’t before) and I went to a prayer night at community church and everything changed for me there. I knew that this is where God had wanted me to be and that there was a different plan for me.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

serve ministry in the cafe. Community church 5 years 2010-

kids ministry community church 1 year 2017-now

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Having a huge family that always sticks together no matter what.

Hearing words of encouragement from my mother.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Dealing with low self- esteem

Having poor self awareness

Feelings of being unwanted
