This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Has always been one of my strong suits, and I love being able to move the church along towards the goal of Christlikeness.

#2 Gift, Prophecy (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Is my secondary passion because I love talking to people (especially not-yet-believers) about JESUS and what He’s done in my life.

#3 Gift, Teaching (100%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
The Church needs more of this gift enacted on a regular, if not daily, basis. I love being the encourager that Believers need because too many times I feel like Pastors don’t do a great job lifting people’s faith through their sermons, which is the whole basis for our beliefs.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

It was Vacation Bible School in 1992, but made a firm commitment to follow Christ and do His will for my life when I was 13 at the same Baptist church where I first was saved

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Revolution Ministries KC (Children’s Pastor) 2017-present

New Life Oak Grove, MO (Ministry Associate) 2013-2017

Tiffany Fellowship Church KC (2004-2008)

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Baptism in the Holy Spirit in 2004

Getting Married in 2008

Getting Ordained in 2015

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Growing up in a nominally Christian home, not truly following Christ like I ought to.

Not embracing true repentance and God’s grace until well into adulthood.

Living as though I loved God on Sunday’s but hardly showed it every other day of the week, while I was a freshman at a Baptaist college many years ago…continuing up until a 2009, when I truly made the commitment to live for Him in everything I say and do, because He called and commissioned me into Pastoral Ministry.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Reaching more than ever before in Kansas City and beyond through the systematically intentional planting of churches in Kansas City and beyond!

4. To build a series of coffee shops that would minister to people because they were Christian-owned and ran business that would also serve as a meeting place Forclosers church on Sunday’s in the Kansas City area.

5. We would build Way Of Life Centers that Serve to meet the needs of the communities we are trying to reach around Kansas City. These would Be multipurpose community centers that are owned by Way Of Life Church (our future church plant’s name) but operated by the KC YMCA. Housed inside these centers would be an auditorium/performing arts center, a multi-use gym and workout area, a daycare/Children’s ministry center and an indoor/outdoor pool that can be used for fun and year round training!!!
