Your Primary was ‘The Beaver’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Beaver- Organized. Beavers think that there is a right way to do everything and they want to do it exactly that way. Beaver personalities are very creative. They desire to solve everything. Desire to take their time and do it right. Beavers do not like sudden changes. They need reassurance.

Strength: High standards, order, respect
Weakness: Unrealistic expectations of self & others, too perfect.
Limitation: Seeing the optimistic side of things, expressing flexibility

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

Grew up in church. By age 17 pulled away, pursued youthful lusts and developed a deep alcohol addiction. Broken by age 21, I fully surrendered my heart to Christ, received an immediate deliverance from addiction, and within six months identified, and began pursuing the calling on my life to teach and pastor.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Southwestern Assemblies of God University, while an on-campus student, I served as assistant to Campus Pastor for 1 1/2 years.

Began full-time ministry at Christ Church Fort Worth 1986 as youth pastor, later as associate pastor. Served there 10 years.

1996 planted Victory Family Church in Burleson Texas and continue to serve as Sr. Pastor for the past 22 years.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Mentored early in my Christian experience by a great leader and teacher, John Collins.

The experiences as an associate pastor under a great leader and pastor, Darius Johnston

Taking a step of faith to plant our present church in 1996.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Season of depression while pastoring a growing church. The depression and my poor emotional health took a toll on my ability to lead, and the church went through a season of decline. I have learned to trust in the Lord more through this, and not rely so much on my abilities are pursuits of perfection.

My testimony of coming to Christ and being delivered from alcoholism, has opened opportunities to minister to other addicts.

Both my wife and I dealing with sicknesses, i.e. seizures and cancer, have given us both a greater compassion to those walking in fear and uncertiantity.
