This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I was able to have the opportunity to work in public service for much of my adult life. I was an infantryman in the Army from the age of 17 to 23. The unique thing about being in the military is that no one has more than the other. This creates a bond that is stronger than you have with family members. We win together and we lose together. In my final role as a team leader I was in charge of 3 soldiers. Exhortation and Encouragement are key traits of a good leader. I built upon this in my next profession as a police officer. Although many people that I dealt with were being arrested and were sure to lose their freedoms for various amounts of time, I made sure that I took the time to offer encouragement so that an offense may not be repeated.

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have held several administration roles professionally. I find developing efficiency and confidence in my team is more satisfying than any amount of money I earn for the success. I constantly collect and analyze data from my day to day activities. I seek ways to duplicate successes and eliminate redundancies through owning my job and delegating to others.

I find it very rewarding to give my time to others as well as use my skills to assist in making others lives easier.

[H]eart

1. I enjoy providing for my family. I grew up in a broken home with parents that didn’t participate. I view providing and being present for my family as gauge of success.

2. Building things from an idea is the second thing that brings me fulfillment. Whether its making breakfast, or building a piece of furniture, I love to watch an idea become a tangible item.

3. I enjoy helping others and not charging anything for my service. It is so great to watch someone’s face lighten up when I complete a project for someone and tell them that they “don’t owe me a dime.”

I like working with passionate thinkers. It does not matter age, or the type of person. We can disagree on everything, but if someone is passionate about something, I will always gravitate to that personality

I understand and support the morale purpose of the church. I grew up in church, but sadly often just go through the motions of being a Christian. I am never one to make excuses, but with that being said, being a soldier and a police officer has allowed me to see a lot of evil. Some of this has been from prominent positions within the church each individual attended. This causes a callused first impression of people that claim to be devout Christians and active members of the church. I will be first to admit that this is not fair, but the biggest concerns that I have is making sure that my family join a church family that practice what they preach.

(Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
