Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was alone in the woods in the hippie commune I had been living in.
As though a whisper had stolen upon me, I was aware of God’s presence. I sensed His love and perfection. I saw how filthy I was, and that I was ruining my life. How foolish for me to live in sin when God’s way offered more than anything I had ever known!
But what about Jesus? Jews hated Him. Didn’t Christians hate Jews? What would my parents think? My heart was so hungry and in so much pain. Suddenly I didn’t care what anyone thought. I needed God’s love. I needed a Father who would love me. If Jesus was the only way to God, then I knew what I would have to do.
I knelt on the ground in the cool damp leaves.
“I’ve been running away from Dad but I’m becoming like him and destroying myself, because I’m actually running away from You. God, please forgive me for running away. Jesus, please come into my life. Forgive my sins.”
The transaction took less than a minute. A beautiful silence surrounded me as I stood to my feet. The world seemed different. The woods smelled fresh and clean. A gentle breeze whispered through the trees. I lifted my face toward the sun and its rays shone down into my soul.
So simple and yet so profound. I knew something big had just happened to me. I was forgiven! I was free!
I lifted my eyes toward heaven and cried sweet, gentle tears!

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

2017-2019 Assisting Small Group director at Greentree Church, Rolla, MO. Forming new groups and training group leaders.

2002-2004 Lead guitar player on worship team, Northgate Church

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Hearing the Word of God for the first time in 1974

People along the way who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself.

As I’ve discovered my strengths and experienced permission to operate in them.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Growing up in violence and abuse. Surrounded by Jewish people who lost relatives in concentration camps. Violence and hatred for Jewish people in Atlanta and Chicago. Dad’s violent beatings of me and my mom. Watching Mom attempt suicide 4 times. Dad’s suicide (or murder).

Heavy abuse of drugs (300+ doses of LSD over 3 years, injecting heroin and other drugs into my veins, smoking marijuana daily for around 7 years). Pursuing Eastern Religions and Witchcraft. Raging, violent, womanizing monster.

Living traumatized for most of my life. Abuse and rejection. Getting fired from multiple jobs and feeling unwanted in most churches.

Wrapping It Up

The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?

1. My Relationship with GOD

2. My Relationship with Others

  • Putting Your Spouse First
  • Your Kids Second
  • Everyone Else After those

3. Leading our company into a culture that transforms lives and families for Jesus. Helping other business leaders do the same in their businesses.

4. Connecting myself and others with God through music. How did David worship?

5. God giving me a new heart so I can enjoy little children and they enjoy me.
