[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I serve seniors that have technical problems, or are lonely. 5eir stories should not be forgotten, their services should be celebrated.

2. I serve street youth who need to communicate with family, and help build self-esteem through high school course completion. I bring Jesus into this process through the telling of my own journey

3. My “love language” is the gift of time. I believe in the power of eye contact and empathy. I serve, because I love my Savior.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I am not picky. I love serving the marginalized. Seniors, shut ins, single moms, isolated, those needing a friend, children needing a surrogate grandparent, small childREn feed my soul. I like veg serving in Women 2 Women, not because they need me but I feel I can take stress off the leaders there, simple things.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Marginalized people, people who cannot access technical help.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I went to Baptist church as a child. Was a foreign exchange student grade 11, joined Mormon church (long story if you ever want to hear) spendthrift a lot of time denying God then was led back by a friend. Been actively involved in following Jesus for ten + years. In a nutshell I’m a survivor, living through grace and mercy.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I have lead ALL women’s organization in LDS church, years and years. I asked for my name to be removed from the records of this church.

I currently have a personal mini-ministry serving two women. One abused, one a street youth, both are now getting high school diploma. Current

Served at Jewish Center of Calgary teaching iPad courses to seniors
