S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Jack Pokorny for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I personally believe the world doesn’t show enough mercy. Hurting something or killing them because of the wrong things they have done is unnecessary. People can change and everyone deserves a chance I strongly believe.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy giving to others a lot. I hate to see people in need it bothers me. People in need, simply need help and I find it impossible to refuse help to others.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I like to encourage people when they need it. I don’t want to see someone fail, if they need encouragement I will give it to them.

1. Video Games because I feel like when I play video games I don’t have to deal with society. In a video game there is no chaos and even if there is just hit a button and try again. I hate the fact the world isn’t perfect so in a video game it can be and I am in control which gives me solitude for some reason.
2. Deep thinking and sleeping. When I sleep I feel like it’s just me and my thoughts and I like to be alone. People stress me out and sleeping is way to get away.
3. Sports. I have always loved sports it makes me feel good. I love winning and in sports there is a lot of that.
I don’t really care what age you are, just as long as we relate in some way. I absolutely hate working with people that I don’t relate to at all because it’s super awkward. I like people who relate to me the most because it’s easy to communicate.
One thing that concerns me is the lack of attendance. Young people today just aren’t as interested in church and I believe that’s hurting church attendance. One thing that will change that and excites me is technology. Technology in churches make it more interesting and I saw it in mine for example. Technology makes church cool, and honestly makes me want to go.

The ability to connect to animals. I connect so well with all animals, it’s honestly weird but I love it. I love animals I feel like they’re gifts from God for the human race to enjoy and love.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
I came to Fork Union, and slowly overtime grew into a follower of Christ.
Music. Music has inspired my life so much, to the point where it has defined who I am. Listening to music is probably my favorite thing to do on earth and has positively shaped what I believe in and my attitude.
My parents. My parents being happily married for years, and the way they have loved me my entire life greatly impacted who I am. I didn’t realize this but they love me so much I feel so bad for what I did to them my sophomore year. No other people on earth do what they have done for me and nobody ever will.
My dogs death. It doesn’t seem positive at all and it isn’t but the outcome is. My dog was loved in my family and when he died it hurt. I feel like I rose above his death because crying wasn’t something he would have wanted for me
My sophomore year. Without the horror of my sophomore year I would have never gotten into college or sent to Fork Union.
My sophomore year girlfriend. Her name was Grace but she dragged me down so much. Grace was a cancer to my well being, and was ultimately what got me sent to Fork Union. I believe God put her in my life as a test and I failed it but for a good reason
My basketball teammates death. My teammate was taken in a car crash my sophomore year and absolutely crushed my life. I loved that kid so much and when he died I died a little inside. Life was so hard I went through a horrible depression it was awful but it got me sent to FUMA.
