S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Lakeisha Davis for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I’m not sure why I have this gift but I do share the knowledge I have of Christ because it’s too life changing to keep secret. God is our reason for being and He is ever present in times of trouble. I feel so many people feel forgotten, lost, and alone in this world and it’s our responsibility to give hope to the hopeless with the promises in God’s world. He is our Saviour and nothing is to hard for Him.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have been told by many how encouraging and uplifting I have been to them in times of hardship. I pray with and for them, given them bible principles and promises to change their perspective about the adversity, and I check on them periodically letting them know I care about what they shared with me. I value friendship/relationships with those who just need a soul or a hand to hold while going through difficulties in life. I have been referred to as a support system for many.
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I do tell others about the warnings and dreams given to me from Christ. I also pray and petition God on others behalf.
[H]eart
1. The first thing I love to do is write the devotionals that have been encouraging and uplifting me through God’s word. I feel so much closer to God and I can hear Him clearly through scripture.
2. I love worshipping God. I love to be alone and sing and feel His presence pour into me when I draw closer to Him.
3. It brings me joy and fulfillment to be there for others whether it be financial assistance, a prayer, or just words of encouragement during a difficult time. I feel like God is using me and it brings me pleasure to know that I’m an instrument for Him and with the purpose He carved out for me.
I love to work mostly with people my age and younger. However I have been there for anyone who needs me. The type of people God seems to put in my path are people who need encouragement. Those that are depressed, sad, and feel alone or forgotten about sometimes. These people mainly know God but life has been so harsh to them that they have lost their way and hope, sometimes faith.
We have an area in ministry that we sometimes overlook and that is to encourage others as God encourages us. I have mainly seen the bible be used for conviction(sin) which is fine but we lose people when we aim at preaching to them perfectness and wrong/right. We have got to start uplifting others no matter what they have done in life, this is what will truly capture the soul and we can allow God to convict and change them once we have pulled them back into right standing with God.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I grew up in church my whole life and I’d like to say I was a Christian my whole life but sometimes lost my way growing in a fallen world. However, I really feel like I became I Christian wholeheartedly in 2013. I had experienced so much hardship at a young age that I ran to God. I felt like I had purpose that I didn’t find on jobs but I wasn’t sure what it was but the devil attacked me hard.
