#1 Gift, Administration (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I enjoy being involved in the planning and organization of ministry. Giving oversight to services made available to people in need. Striving to make every opportunity possible to ensure that the outcomes meet or exceed the need of its intended purpose.

#2 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I tend to discern when individuals are discouraged, feel like giving up and cast blame on others for persistent personal problems. Usually, I treat others the way I like to be treated with respect and not being intrusive. Helping people to feel good about themselves gives a glimmer of hope that God loves them and that He demonstrates his love through regular people.

#3 Gift, Teaching (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Biblical references about who God is and how we benefit from knowing God through his Word teaches me again and again what I still need to learn makes teaching all the more enjoyable. Teaching others about God is great. Observing God reveal Christ through His teaching is life changing.

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love being able to provide empowerment resources for working class individuals and families living below the average median household income in the U.S.

2. Being instrumental by assisting leaders with developing partnerships for common causes and community cohesiveness.

3. Being in position of philanthropy for social enterprise and humanitarian efforts.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love to work with seniors regardless of gender, race. The age may vary depending on the type of ministry or service. Working with young males and men struggling with depression, stress, anger, etc.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

The need for volunteers and sustainability of ministries concern me the most. The use of monies collected for ministry purposes and the transparency of it being made known to the body.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

It was during a time I was frustrated with myself. I did not have a plan nor self confidence. My Grandmother asked me, “When are you going back to Church?” It was thereafter that the decision was made to return and became a Christian.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

My past ministry experience is as follows:
Wilberforce University, Xenia, OH., Campus Ministry President – 3 years
Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Cleveland, OH., Outreach Pastor – 2 years

Bethany Baptist Church, Cleveland, OH., Minister – 2 years.
New Community Bible Fellowship, Cleveland Heights, OH., Ministry Committee Leader – 2 years.

New Salem Baptist Church, Columbus, OH., Associate Minister/Director of Missions – 9 years

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Choosing to return to college after academic suspension. It was at that time I began to believe in God.

Preaching my 1st holy spirit filled sermon at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church

Giving my grandmother her 1st birthday celebration with the support of my pastor’s mother.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Fighting with a family member that I did not mean to hurt

Committing adultery

Walking away from friends and brother with no explanation.
