#1 Gift, Evangelism (81%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I was a little taken at first to see that Evangelism was the first percentage. However, I find joy from talking to others, and when I get the chance to communicate about God, it makes the conversation sweeter.

#2 Gift, Mercy Showing (78%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
Mercy seemed to be an obvious characteristic about me. I have lived in countless situations growing up and I am still experiencing scenarios where I am able to empathize with others due to the experiences God has placed for me. I can understand their feelings, their thoughts, and their actions which paves a way for me to help the individuals in need.

#3 Gift, Exhortation/Encouragement (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love people, and I love seeing people smile. It brightens my day knowing that I witnessed someone smile due to the words and actions that I display. I love cheering for people and being there for people when they need me!

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love helping people through difficult times and seeing them grow in it. I love taking part in that growth and being a witness of God’s power.

2. I love the smiles, laughter, and joy that come with communicating with others. I love people. I love how each individual is so different with their own personal story. I love getting to know new people and making relationships.

3. I love being in God’s nature and creation. I love traveling and seeing the world. I love learning about new things and how they can relate to the bible. For example, looking up at the stars, I can recall the time God’s Covenant with Abram. God told Abram to count the same amount of stars in the sky there are today and said to Abram that those were his promises to him.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I am a little confused by this question. But I enjoy working with children, especially children with disabilities. I love to spend time with the elderly as well and people my age (college students). However, I really love to work with children.

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

I love working with children and the youth, however, I am concerned that I am not in a place to do so yet. I don’t know where I am to be in the future and I also don’t know if I am equipped spiritually to be pouring into the future generation.

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I was raised in the church, but I did not truly understand how much of it consists of having a relationship with God. When I started growing more in my faith was in college and living like Christ.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I served at Beach Reach in South Padre, Texas. I only served one year for spring break.

I served in Prague, Minnesota for a Block Party that happens annually. I always served as a leader for the calvary youth and children’s camp similar to vacation bible school. I only served one year for a week.

I participated in several VBS’s in Commerce Texas. I have been doing that for several years. I also have been serving for several years at SEEK Camp in Bridgeport, Texas as a camp counselor.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Camp Counselor at Seek Camp.

Going to church at First Baptist Texas Commerce.

Attending College with other Christian followers.

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being homeless and when I was not homeless, I lived in terrible conditions. I lived slightly above the poverty line. I have been in financial situations for my entire life.

My mother being abused by my father. My father was diagnosed with bipolar and abandoned us. CPS was called on us and we got separated. Once we were together, my family went into hiding, so my father would not get custody of us.

Lastly, in college, I suffered from mental illnesses. I dealt with depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, hostility, and other conditions.
