S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results

Thank you Rebecca Stroup for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. #2 Gift, Giving (68%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love to give money to church events and fundraisers, as well as tithe. I also love giving my time, service, and support to people God puts in my path.

#3 Gift, Mercy Showing (65%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I have a hard time staying on the “hard-line” when it comes to people’s life decisions and actions that are sinful or unwise. I give people the benefit of the doubt often as well, even if I have been mistreated by them. I just rather pray for them and have mercy, then put my foot down and cut ties, even if a tie probably needs to be cut.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I went to church my whole life, but I was a problem child. Then, at around age 10, I decided to live for Jesus. My parents noticed a change in me right away and life became better than I ever thought possible.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

I have played in worship teams at the Rock of Roseville CA, pianist, 3 years, Artisan, Roseville CA, pianist, 5 years, Roseville City Church CA, pianist, 1 year, Crosswind, Lancaster CA, 1 year.

I helped in children’s ministry at the Rock of Roseville, CA for 2 years, I lead children’s Bible studies at Artisan, CA for 1 year, and also at Roseville City Church, CA for half a year.

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

I have met amazing Christian families who helped me become who I am today.

I have been to youth camps where I encountered God in a new way.

I have heard God’s voice loudly many times, especially in situations of making important decisions. I know that He is with me and is guiding me!

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Being abused and treated very badly by people I have loved and by Christians I respected.

I watched my parents go through 2 miscarriages in a row.

Twice in my life my family has had no income for an extended period of time (no longer than a year).
